He's with a band called Day 8, which is fronted by Tom Sizemore (!). Stay tuned for some pics of Tom playing a Ruby Red, as we've mentioned before, you just never know who'll turn up with an RKS these days!
Out of the 2500 bands that submitted, NBC's Star Tomorrow is down to this last 13 acts. Randy Morris (playing with BOB GENTRY) is in the semi-finals, playing that gorgeous red ABass. The competition is really heating up, and every vote counts ...
Mike's fans do love him, and this helped convince us to go ahead and send him a Ruby -- for those of you in the Rochester area, this means you will be seeing your favorite guitar player with his new guitar very soon!

We ran into Uncle Plum (well, Mike Gladstone, of Uncle Plum) up at MIAC -- and Uncle Mike seemed to take a liking to the Ruby Red:
Yes peeps, much respect to the RKS family. I am back from my trip to Japan with Cyril Neville and Tribe 13. I actually got back about a week ago and had to pack and leave again for the weekend. After flying 11 hours on the return trip, I drove 9 hours to our gig. I needed sometime to get over my jet lag.
So, what about my Japan trip?...all I can say is that is was the bomb folks! This featival was done by email only for about one year. No press, no flyers radio or TV. And they had about 5000 people the first night and about 7500 the second night. The sound and lighting was top knoch. Once our music hit those people, they had the police busy trying their best to keep the people at bay and from rushing the stage. Japanese audiance can get alittle crazy.
And the Japanese musician were going crazy over our RKS guitars and tones. After we performed some of the Japanese musicians got a chance to play the guitars and they were absolutly blown away by the sound, feel and confort of the body style.
Since I've been back home, I am back in production mode again at my recording studio Coinhead, where I am currently producing 3 different projects and they're all fun fun fun baby! And I am also busy showing my awesome guitars around Austin and where ever I am performing. Got to get some sleep naaaaaaaaah!
I'm working on some footage captured during my trip in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka Japan. Coming soon to my blog soon...so stay tuned to Courtney's Blog!
RKS Guitars GET!PS. Again if you don't have RKS in your choice of excellent guitar tones and craftsmanship, you should! It's worlds apart from the others and without ripping off someone elses design! RKS is all that and more...
Peace,
CA
Here at RKS we _love_ YouTube, because when our artists broadcast themselves, everybody wins (and speaking of winning, this is Neverwonder's entry into the Cingular YouTube Underground Contest, voting starts October 25th) ...
You know, here at RKS, we're guitar people, so of course we were stoked to hear about that car company giving away guitars that play through the car speakers -- it's just a cool thing to do.
A zippy little car & a cute matching guitar, what could be cooler?
A one-off Vengeance Custom motorcycle and a matching RKS?

yeah.
and if you think this is cool? Wait 'till you see what's next.
Acquired a new RKS Natural Redhead Solidbody about a month ago as a changeup from my other axe, a 1959 Reissue Les Paul Custom. I am thrilled with the quality of the RKS - construction, aesthetics, ergonomics, electronics and, most of all, its sound!
